Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) are two brilliant physicists who share the same apartment. Their lives become complicated when a beautiful young woman (unintelligent) Penny becomes his visinha. The "nerdeza" pure intellect and Leonard and Sheldon are comically contrasted with social skills and common sense of Penny. The group is still formed by Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrappali, two equally geeky friends who also work at CalTech.


Sheldon Cooper
Sheldon is a theoretical physicist with a doctorate in Theory "M", lives in the same apartment with Leonard Hofstadter, he does not get along with his visinha (Penny), the character is highlighted by having'' quirks'' (Syndrome symptoms Asperger disorder or obsessive-compulsive disorder), is also highlighted by the word'''' bazinga. The physique does not get along well with her mother she always uses the word of God.


Leonard Hofstadter
Leonard is the character wiser and more understand life outside of scientific circles, he fights to avoid withstands bizarre manias Sheldon even supports their curses. Leonard has an affection for his visinha Penny arrive dating but the relationship was not very well, he also already dated with a great lawyer named Priya, the sister of one of his best friends Raj.

Penny
The beautiful neighbor Leonard and Sheldon, adored by all but by Sheldon. After a while she's dating Leonard but the relationship was not very well but remained friends, their dream is to be an actress but as far as it is able to be an actress from an advertisement on hemorrhoid and works in a diner called Cheesecake Factory.

Howard Wolowitz

He is the only group that does not have a doctorate, and lives with his Jewish mother. He works in the field of space engineering, Penny lives flirting other girls and always a failure but in the end he ends up marrying a beautiful girl named Bernadette another doctor.

  

Rajesh Koothrappali

PhD in astrophysics and also works in the department of physics at Caltech, was born in India and has a sister named Priya who dated a while with his friend Leonard, although Raj vehemently prohibit this dating, the two simply ignored. He can barely talk to women.
